City of Homer Multi-Use Community Center Fund
Building a new Community Recreation Center is a Homer City Council and community priority, and now there’s a way for the public and grantors to give donations through the Homer Foundation to help make this happen!
The City Council established the Multi-Use Community Center Fund by resolution in May 2025, followed by an initial $10,000 investment by the City in October 2025. Expenditures from the fund revenue will be directed by the City Council according to the following guidelines:
- Infrastructure and site preparation, including engineering and design
- Facility engineering and design
- Community Recreation Center construction
- Other needs deemed relevant by Council specific to the completion of a Community Recreation Center.
