Become An Instructor!
Learn how to become a City of Homer Community Rec instructor or volunteer.
Here a few simple steps:
1. Email Recreation Manager Mike Illg and send a short description of your proposed class, program or idea. Think of days, times, space needed, min/max participants and estimate instructor fees.
2. If the class, program or idea is determined to be doable, set an appointment to to meet with Rec manager to review the class details.
3. Complete the application that includes a background check, online concussion training certificate and the general application.
