Calvin & Coyle

An easy 1.5 mile roundtrip trail winds through spruce and alder forest and wetlands.  Leads to a viewing platform overlooking Beluga Lake.  The trailhead is one-mile east of downtown Homer.

Directions:  one-mile east on East End Road.  Take a right on Mariner Drive.  At the end of Mariner Drive there is a small parking area and informational kiosk.  Mariner Drive is a dead end street making it difficult to turn-around large RVs.

Note:  This is a foot trail only, and not suited for wheelchairs or strollers.

There are two city maintained dump stations available in Homer that open as soon as weather permits and close in the fall once it begins to freeze.
