Mayor Pro-tem Roberts recognized City of Homer Employee and Wastewater Operator Jerry Lawver as Wastewater Operator of the Year at Monday's Council meeting.  The City of Homer would like to thank Jerry for his years of service to the community and the City. Jerry Lawver was accompanied by his supervisor, Todd Cook, to accept the proclamation.

Periodically, you will see Public Works personnel releasing water from fire hydrants. Homer residents often ask why the City flushes water from fire hydrants.
