Homer City Council Selects Melissa Jacobsen as New City Manager

Pavilions and/or gazebos are available to reserve  at Karen Hornaday Park, Bishop's Beach, WKFL Park, Mariner Park, and the Kachemak Bay Water Trail Pavilion. The Boathouse Pavilion does not take reservations and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis to any event or activity that is open to the public.

Take a stroll down memory lane and enjoy highlights of past City activities by perusing our archived City Newsletters. We now primarily use other communication tools to keep residents and visitors informed, including Facebook and Instagram (@cityofhomerak), our website, and press releases. However, these newsletters are too good to simply remove from our website, so we offer the archive here. We hope you enjoy them!

A Summer @ HPL 2024 Event!

A local beekeeper, Jennifer Frazier, will bring her demonstration hive to show real bees! We'll learn about why pollinators are so important and what we can do to help them! For all ages (preschool and younger with a caregiver).
