Now we can visualize the future of the HERC site!  Stantec will be presenting the conceptual site and building plans during the regular Council Meeting on February 28. This unveiling will kick off two months of public comment opportunities and community conversations.

Mayor/Aderhold.

City leaders welcomed Senator Lisa Murkowski and US Coast Guard Rear Admiral Nathan Moore to Homer on Wednesday, January 26th.  Senator Murkowski came to tour the harbor to see the need for the large vessel expansion and meet with Mayor Castner and City staff to discuss various City infrastructure projects and possible federal funding opportunities. The discussion covered City water and sewer projects, erosion mitigation projects and of course Homer Large Vessel Port Expansion project.
