American Rescue Plan Act Economic Assistance Programs

In March of 2021 Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act which is a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus bill aimed at continuing the country’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The State of Alaska received $1.02 billion in ARPA funds; some of those funds will assist nonprofits, small businesses and individuals through a variety of grant programs.  As Homer continues its recovery from the effects of the COVID pandemic, we wanted to let you know that Federal and State grants, loans and tax credits remain available to fuel Alaskan businesses and non-profits.
