Step 1: Review the attached calendars for the most updated facility availability and be sure the time you request is available.  Reservations requires the presence of a coordinating Community Recreation volunteer or instructor to open, close and supervise who must stay the entire time of the reservation.  There is an expectation that volunteers also assist with regularly scheduled CR programs to qualify to reserve the gymnasium for private use.

Step 2: Select the requested day and time period, submit your request and information using the webform below. There is a minimum of one hour  and a maximum of two hours for each reservation. Minimum of 4 participants.  Activity must be reviewed and approved by Recreation Manager.

Step 3: Participants must have a signed  all registration and release form prior to participation. See the attached documents to print/sign or sign when at the HERC.

Step 4: Await for a response from recreation staff to confirm your request. There is NO guarantee the day and time you request will be available regardless of the calendar information.

  • Mitigation plan of operations can change with limited notice.
  • Participants agree to NOT enter the facility if they have any symptoms of feeling ill.
  • Reservations are also available pending time block availability on a first come, first serve basis. 
  • Regularly scheduled activities will have priority over reservations.  Any and all reservations may be canceled to make room for new regular programs.
  • Scheduled reservations are not open to the public!
  • The fee per person during the reservation $5/adult and $3/youth.  This fee is covered through the 3 month membership, punch card or the drop in fee.  Everyone must pay including participants who reserved the space.
  •  Reservations should be 24 hours in advance. Reservations for Saturday, Sunday or Monday should be submitted by the preceding Friday at 3pm.  Reservations are available for up to two weeks in advance. Groups are allowed to reserve the same designated time period (ex. 9-11am) for a maximum of 3 days per week to ensure other groups have the opportunity to reserve popular time blocks.
  • Cancellations and no shows within a 24 hours and without notification will still be charged.
  • The HERC Gym and Activity Room is available everyday 6am-8pm, depending upon staff/volunteer availability and and available space. The Gym and Activity Room can be scheduled at the same time.
  • Participants with reservations and staff/volunteer are the only people who shall be in the facility. Early entrance to the facility will not be allowed.  
  • Facility can be closed and reservations cancelled with minimal notice as determined by staff if needed.
  • Clean, separate indoor athletic shoes are required. Wiping and cleaning off outdoor shoes is not allowed nor is playing in socks or barefoot.
  • Bring your own water bottle as the water fountain is not available.  No food is allowed in the HERC.
