Subject:              Award of Construction Contract Tree Clearing - Town Center Site

On August 21, 2014 fax-back quotes were received for the above referenced project.  In accordance with the Procurement Policy, fax-back bids were solicited from twelve area-wide contractors.

This project will consist of clearing underbrush and small trees from City-owned property in Town Center (approximately 2.0 acres).

Seven responsive bids were received from qualified firms.  The bid results were evaluated and the results are listed below

Recommendation:

City Council pass a resolution awarding the construction contract for the Library Site Tree Cutting project in the amount of $2.450 to Gregoire Construction of Homer, Alaska and authorizing the City Manager to execute all appropriate documents necessary to complete this project.
