Can I call an inmate?

Prisoners in the jail are not permitted incoming calls.  If you would like to contact an inmate, you can call the jail at 907-235-4158.  The corrections officer will forward the information to that person as soon as convenient and they may call you if they chose to expend their outgoing telephone privilege.  Corrections staff is not required or obligated to convey personal telephone messages (other than those from counsel) to the defendant, other than the name and return telephone number of the calling party.

All calls in/out of the jail are subject to monitoring other than those from attorney's, doctors or clergy.
