Homer Police Welcome Two New Officers
Last night Chief Robl introduced the two newest Police Department members to the City Council during a swearing in ceremony. We are very happy to have Tyler Jeffres and Kellen Stock and their families as part of our team!
Tyler Jeffres comes to us from Greely, CO as a graduate of Fort Lewis College. Tyler has a background in directing youth programs and youth soccer. Earlier this summer, Tyler completed sixteen weeks of training and is currently in his second phase of field training.
Kellen Stock is the Department's most recent hire. Kellen hails from Portland, OR and just left the US Coast Guard after six years of service at the rank of Lieutenant. Kellen previously staffed the US Coast Guard Pacific Area Command and lived in Homer when he was a crew-member of the USCGC Roanoke Island from 2013-2015.
The addition of Tyler and Kellen brings Homer Police Department up to 12 sworn officers, a full complement.
