How do I remand after my case is adjudicated?
All persons remanding shall normally check into the jail facility at 9:00am on the assigned day. Persons remanding may check into the facility at other times (except between 4:00am and 8:00am) only with the prior consent of the jail. Persons remanding may not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
All persons checking into the Homer Community Jail must possess a legible copy of either their court judgment or a temporary order, which displays the court docket number, the length of sentence, the judge, magistrate, or clerks signature, and the court seal.
All medications brought by persons remanding are subject to DOC approval. Medications approved will be held by Corrections and administered as directed by the prescription.
Persons remanding may wear personal clothing provided their are no strings. Personal toiletries, food and jewelry are not permitted.
