Peace Officers Memorial Day May 15 and National Police Week May 12-18
Mayor Pro-tem Roberts recognized May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and May 12-18 as National Police Week. This proclamation recognizes the tremendous responsibilities, hazards, and sacrifices peace officers undergo as part of their daily job. City of Homer Chief of Police Mark Robl accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Homer Police Department.
