Building Maintenance
Building Maintenance provides services to other City Departments regarding general building facility maintenance efforts including the Police Department, Fire Department, Library, City Hall, Airport Terminal, Port & Harbor, Public Works building, Parks, Homer Educational & Recreation Center ( HERC), and the Animal Shelter. Duties include maintaining electrical, lighting, back up generators, sidewalk shoveling and sanding, janitorial, smoke detectors, boilers, and anything else that it takes to keep a building up and running!
