RESOLUTION 15-016

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE HOMER NATURAL GAS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT BY EXEMPTING PROPERTY AND CORRECTING ERRORS IN THE ASSESSMENT ROLL.

               WHEREAS, Council adopted Ordinance 13-02 on February 11, 2013 creating the City of Homer Natural Gas Distribution Special Assessment District; and

               WHEREAS, Since the adoption of Ordinance 13-02, the Council has taken several actions to delete properties from the preliminary assessment roll that it found would not be benefited by the improvement, and to correct other errors in the preliminary assessment roll; and

               WHEREAS, The Council finds that it is necessary to amend the preliminary assessment roll as provided herein to exempt ________ property that will not be benefited by the improvement, and to correct other errors in the preliminary assessment roll.

               NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, hereby amends the preliminary assessment roll for the Homer Natural Gas Special Assessment District by exempting ________ property and correcting other errors in the assessment roll, as shown on Attachment A, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein.

                    PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council on this 16th day of March, 2015.
