RESOLUTION 17-035
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AWARDING A TERM CONTRACT FOR ROAD/DRAINAGE/TRAIL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES TO HDL ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS, INC. OF KENAI, ALASKA, KINNEY ENGINEERING OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, AND NELSON ENGINEERING OF KENAI, ALASKA AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, In January 2017, Public Works issued an RFP for professional engineering services for road/drainage/ trail projects, in accordance with the City’s Procurement Manual; and
WHEREAS, Fourteen proposals were received, reviewed, and scored by a review committee; and
WHEREAS, Based on the scoring of the committee, HDL Engineering Consultants of Kenai, Alaska, Kinney Engineering of Anchorage, Alaska, and Nelson Engineering of Kenai, Alaska were determined to be the most qualified firms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council awards a term contract for professional engineering services for road/drainage/trail projects to HDL Engineering Consultants of Kenai, Alaska, Kinney Engineering of Anchorage, Alaska, and Nelson Engineering of Kenai, Alaska and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Homer, Alaska this 10th day of April, 2017.
