RESOLUTION 17-071

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FRISBEE COURT PAVING PROJECT TO THE FIRM OF EAST ROAD SERVICES. INC. OF HOMER, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $156,102 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, Competitive bids were solicited for the Frisbee Court Paving Project in conformance with The City of Homer’s procurement policy; and

WHEREAS, Two bids were received on July 13, 2017 (see Memorandum 17-105); and

WHEREAS, The low bid from East Road Services, Inc. of Homer, Alaska was found to be responsive; and

WHEREAS, The bid is within the project budget approved by the City Council; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until written notification is received by the firm from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, awards the contract for the Frisbee Court Paving Project to the firm of East Road Services, Inc. of Homer, Alaska, in the amount of $156,102 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 24th day of July, 2017.
