Resolution 18-037(S) Amending Fee Schedule to Increase Library Copy Fees

RESOLUTION 18-037(S)

A RESOLUTION OF HOMER CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE UNDER LIBRARY FEES TO INCREASE COPY FEES.

WHEREAS, There are print shops in Homer that provide photo copy services, and

WHEREAS, Some of the City’s copy fees are less expensive than that offered those local businesses, and

WHEREAS, The City’s 2010 Comprehensive Plan Chapter 8, suggests several economic development strategies which includes supporting and encouraging local businesses to provide goods and services; and

WHEREAS, The City’s copy fees should be amended so as not to compete with local businesses.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council amends the City of Homer Fee Schedule under Library Fees to increase copy fees as follows:

Photo copy

Black and white          $  .20 /ea letter (letter size) and (legal size) per side

                                      $ .30/ea legal size per side

                                      $ .40 /ea 11”x17” per side

Color                             $ .50 /ea letter size per side

                                      $ .80/ea legal size per side

                                      $ 1.00 /ea 11”x17” per side
