Harvesting Readers - End of Summer Reading

Let's celebrate all the growing we did over the summer! It's the event of the season! 

Join us for games, music, prizes, hot dogs and ice cream! Winners of the Lego contest will be announced! Celebrate all that you read and how much you and your seeds grew over the summer!  All summer reading participants and their families are welcome! 

Fairy House Workshop

Create a small house for your favorite garden or indoor fairy! Supplies provided. Registration required. All ages; those under 6 need a grown-up to help them. 

Plant a Seed, Read: LEGO Contest! (Drop-off)

Design a LEGO creation related to the Summer Reading Theme: Plant a Seed, Read! Use your imaginations to create something that demonstrates the theme! It could be about gardening, seeds, plants or flowers, or something more abstract! Follow your own ideas, not LEGO instructions! (No LEGO sets, please.)

Bring your creations to the library between Thurs. July 23 and Wed. July 29. 

Judging will take place on July 30. Winners will be announced at the End of Summer Reading Party on Saturday, August 1. 

Family Story time on the Spit
