LIBRARY CLOSED: Holiday Hours 2024

The library will CLOSE EARLY at 1pm on Tuesday, December 24th and remain closed through Wednesday, December 25th.

OPEN Thursday, December 26th - Monday, December 30th during normal hours.

The library will CLOSE EARLY at 1pm on Tuesday, December 31st and remain closed through Wednesday, January 1st.

Regular hours resume Thursday, January 2nd. 

Homer Spit Storm Surge Emergency Response

DOT contractors have completed the temporary emergency repairs planned for Homer Spit Road and Right of Way protection following the November 2024 Storm Surge Event.

Update May 5, 2025 DOT is gearing up to complete the hard facing project that closes the gap between the end of the Homer Spit Road rock revetment and Glacier D. Contractor's are aiming to get started Tuesday morning, April 6, and if all goes, they’ll complete the work by end of business day Wednesday, May 7.

Create a Log-in and Make Utility Payments with Xpress Bill Pay

As of November 15, 2024, the City of Homer is partnering with a new vendor, Xpress Bill Pay, to accept secure, online Utility Bill payments. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Customers who previously used Intellipay to make utility bill payments need to set up a new account with Xpress Bill Pay because existing Intellipay accounts did not automatically transfer to Xpress Bill Pay.
