Deep Water Dock Schedule Request

Please complete the following form as much as possible.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding docking logistics, contact the 24/7 on-duty Harbor Officer at 907-399-1649 or VHS Channel 16.  You may also contact the Port and Harbor Office during business hours at 907-235-3160.

Berthing Preference:
Will you need to use the Crane?
The Inside Berth of the Deep Water Dock has a 5 ton crane, which must be unlocked by a Harbor Officer before use. Crane activity will be billed to the party responsible for dock charges.

Vessel Information
Please provide the Vessel Name, Length Overall, Displacement Tons (or Dead Weight), and its Flag/Country of Registry. For tug and barges, list each vessels' information separately.

The City of Homer is not responsible for delivering fuel to vessels on the Deep Water Dock.  Be sure that you have contacted your selected fuel provider in advance to coordinate the logistics of fuel delivery.  Fuel trucks would be required as there is no fuel line that runs out to the end of the dock.  If you would rather have direct fuel delivery, please request use of the Pioneer Dock where there is a fuel line that runs out to the end of the dock, which is owned and maintained by Petro Marine Services.

Logistics
Cargo Handling MUST be by a Terminal Use Permit (TUP) Holder. Line handling must be by a TUP Holder or the vessel's crew.

The City of Homer Cannabis Advisory Commission referred to in this chapter as the Commission. The Commission shall serve as the local regulatory authority for purposes of AS 17.38.

Homer Beach Policy

We often get asked "where can I ride?" 

                                                 ATTENTION CITY BEACH USERS

Homer's Beach Policy and Management Plan identifies where people may drive on local beaches. Additional information can be found in Homer City Code, Chapter 7.16 Vehicles in Beach Areas. 

Driving or parking on all City beaches and storm berms is prohibited with the following exceptions:
