Equipment

The library offers a variety of equipment available for use in the library:

  • Microform and microfiche reader with printing capabilities
  • Photocopier (black & white/color)
  • Page magnifier for the visually impaired
  • Scanner for use with USB devices or email
  • Videophone

We also allow certain equipment to be checked out. Patrons must have a Homer Public Library card in good standing to check out equipment.

Do you know someone who cannot read due to a visual or physical disability?

The Talking Book Center provides free access to recorded, large-print and Braille books to people of all ages who cannot read due to a visual or physical disability.

Stall Wait List Renewal Deadline

The Homer Port and Harbor Stall Wait List renewal deadline is May 2, 2016.

All applicants already on the Stall Wait List will receive their renewal paperwork in the mail mid-March.  Only one written notice will be sent so please be sure to get your renewal and annual payment of $30 in before the deadline or your name and position will be removed from the Stall Wait List.

Storm Water Plans

Storm water plans are required for some projects. If you are unsure if you need a storm water plan, contact the Planning and Zoning Department.

Projects & Plans

Along with the day to day maintenance of City facilities, Public Works also manages the planning, design, permitting, and construction inspection of the City's capital projects.

Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual

The Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual is provided as guidance to all procurement activity in the City. It has been developed to assure compliance with the direction of the City Council, the Homer Municipal Code, and sound business practices. It may be revised as required to meet the needs of the City Council.
