Invitation to Bid

for Snow Removal and Sanding Services
2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15

Sealed bids will be received by the Office of the City Clerk, 491 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603 until 2:00 pm, September 20th at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after the time specified will be considered non-responsive shall not be considered.

The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and other facilities necessary to perform the work. THe work includes, but is not limited to the following:

The plowing and sanding of five (5) parking lots, and associated sidewalks located throughout the City. Areas of work and services to be provided are as further described in Section II of the bid documents.

The City of Homer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bids, and to award the contract to the bidder that best meets the aforementioned  criteria. All firms submitting bids must be listed on the Bidder's List kept by the City Clerk. Bidders not on the "Bidder's List" shall be deemed unresponsive and shall not be considered. The City shall not accept faxed bids.
