Picturing Homer: Sun Photography and Rephotography

Photographs are great ways to see into the past, and also see the present! In this two part workshop we'll look at historic photos of Homer and the area, and make a photography craft. Over the next month, participants can use the historic photographs to recreate the images using their own cameras, smart phones or ipads borrowed from the library. Meet back together in a month to share what you've taken of present day Homer!

R.E.A.D with Ruger

Ruger is a reading therapy dog and he loves to be read to! He'll be at the library for a series of three days. Pre-register for one 15 minute session with Ruger. Sessions with Ruger are for K-2nd graders, and limited to one session per person. We'll announce any additional openings.
