The Homer Public Library is excited to announce that we will be featured on an upcoming episode of American Stories: A Reading Road Trip!

Computer Skills Training

Sponsored by the Friends of the Homer Public Library

Learn practical computer skills focused on good technique and understanding big picture concepts for individuals or nonprofit organizations. We will learn to use a map of computer tools instead of only memorizing specific directions for a single tool. This allows one to adapt to constantly changing conditions. All levels welcome especially, those with no/little experience.

2nd and 4th Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:30pm

Introuducing PaperCut, the library's new printing system that allows you to print directly from your phone, your laptop, or a library computer!

Getting Started

Library staff can give you a generic PaperCut login, which is not private and should not be used for printing confidential information. You can also create your own account.

Write What You Know!  

A discussion on the craft and art of writing, both memoir, and fiction.

Featuring select readings from his memoir, and the Ida Mae Joy, Alaskan historical/adventure trilogy, Brian will cover all aspects of his process for writing, designing, and self-publishing his books.

Double, double toil and trouble! Something spooky is brewing at the library! Join Youth Librarian Cinda in this Children's Library for this drop-in event. We'll make frighteningly fun bath bombs!
