Political Signs in Homer City Limits and Along State Roads
The City of Homer regulates electoral signs in addition to other types of signage per HCC 21.60. Please review the City's rules for electoral signs below:
Homer City Limits - Electoral signs (candidates/propositions)
- Signs may be placed on private property with the permission of the owner - not in the public right-of-way
- Signs should be placed to allow visibility for turning vehicles - don't present a hazard with your sign!
- Signs should have a maximum of 16 square feet in area (per side if double-sided)
- Signs may be placed up to 60 days prior to an election and remain up for 7 days following an election

Along State Roads (Sterling Highway, East End Road, Diamond Ridge)
