City Council Applications for Appointment Open July 27 thru August 17
A seat on the Homer City Council was declared vacant by City Council at their July 26th regular meeting. Homer citizens interested in being appointed to serve the partial term until October 2021 must file an application for appointment with the City Clerk's Office.
Applications for Appointment will be accepted July 27, 2021 through, Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Clerk's Office
To qualify, candidates must be:
- A US Citizen
- At least 18 years of age
- A registered voter of the City of Homer at least 30 days before being appointed (i.e. July 23, 2021)
- And have been a resident, fixed habitation, of the City of Homer for at least one year prior to being appointed (i.e. August 23, 2020)
