Permanent Fund Committee Meeting Minutes April 20, 2010

Session 10-04 a Special Meeting of the Permanent Fund Committee was called to order at 9:07 a.m. on April 20, 2010 by Chair Barbara Howard at the City Hall Cowles Council Chambers located at 491 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska.

PRESENT: COMMITTEE MEMBERS: REGINA HARVILLE, BARBARA HOWARD, JO JOHNSON, BETH WYTHE

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

WYTHE/JOHNSON – MOVED TO INCLUDE EXECUTIVE SESSION UNDER PENDING BUSINESS FOR INTERVIEWS AND DISCUSSION.

There was no discussion.

VOTE: YES. NON OBJECTION. UNANIMOUS CONSENT.

Motion carried.

The agenda as amended was approved by consensus of the Committee.

WYTHE/HARVILLE – MOVED TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION.

Interviews were conducted with U.S. Bank and Edward Jones.

WYTHE/HARVILLE – MOVED TO ACCEPT THE BID FROM U.S. BANK AND WORK TO DEVELOP THE PERIMETERS.

A. Memorandum from Jo Johnson re: Amend Regular Meeting Times to 5:15 p.m.

Jo Johnson reported there is no formal outline for the Committee’s meeting times, therefore, a memorandum to City Council is the only requirement to amend the meeting times.

JOHNSON/WYTHE – MOVED TO CHANGE THE REGULAR MEETING TIMES TO 5:15 P.M.

There was no discussion.

WYTHE/HARVILLE – MOVED TO PREPARE MEMO TO CITY COUNCIL FOR A 5:15 START TIME FOR QUARTERLY MEETINGS.
