Public Works Gravel Supply

Sealed bids for the CITY OF HOMER PUBLIC WORKS GRAVEL SUPPLY will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Homer, 491 East Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 05, 2011, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for: 2011, 2012, 2013 PUBLIC WORKS GRAVEL SUPPLY Project No. GRVL-11

This work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and other facilities necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications. Quantities required shall be adjusted annually by Public Works.

For the 2011 Contract year, the work includes, but is not limited to the following.

I. Furnish and deliver 1,500 cubic yards vehicle measure
winter roadway sand as specified.

II. Furnish & deliver 1,200 cubic yards vehicle measure of 2”
minus gravel as specified.

III. Furnish & deliver (0) cubic yards (for 2011) vehicle measure of D-1
Base course as specified.

IV. Furnish & deliver 50 cubic yards vehicle measure of Airport Maintenance Sand.

V. Furnish & deliver 200 cubic yards vehicle measure of Type II gravel.
