City Adopts Capital Improvement Plan

Harbor Ramp 3

On Monday October 15 the Homer City Council approved the five year capital improvement plan for the City of Homer. They also approved Resolution 12-087(S), the Legislative Request for FY2014 which is a selection of the top 15 projects the Mayor and Council will be advocating for state funding in the 2013 Capital Budget. This list was amended on February 11, 2013 to reflect project updates. View a copy of Resolution 13-018 making those changes by clicking the link below.

Establishing the Capital Improvement priorities is a long process that begins in June and involves lots of opportunities for public input. If there is a project on the list you would like to see funded, make sure and communicate that to your State Senator and Representative so they are aware of the needs of the community.
