Council Members Seated After Certification of Election Results
On Friday, October 8th, the Canvass Board counted absentee, special needs and question ballots to confirm the outcome of Homer's October 5th Regular Municipal Election and issue the Certificate of Election.
After City Council approved and accepted the Certified election results at their October 11th meeting, City Clerk Melissa Jacobsen oversaw the swearing-in of three Homer City Council members.
Incumbent Councilmember Donna Aderhold was elected to serve a third term on Homer City Council.
Shelly Erickson is returning to City Council for another three-year term after having served on Council previously from 2016 to 2019.
Jason Davis, who was appointed to fill the remaining term of a seat left vacant when Councilmember Joey Evensen resigned, takes the Oath of Office after being elected fill the seat's remaining one-year term.
