RESOLUTION 13-090

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE HOMER NATURAL GAS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT BY EXEMPTING CERTAIN PROPERTIES AND MAKING AMENDMENTS FOR RECORDED PROPERTY PLAT ACTIONS THROUGH AUGUST 27, 2013.

WHEREAS, Council adopted Ordinance 13-02 on February 11, 2013 creating the City of Homer Natural Gas Distribution Special Assessment District; and

WHEREAS, Upon adoption of Ordinance 13-02, certain properties were exempted from the special assessment district including lands that changed through a platting action recorded on or prior to January 28, 2013, and additional lands that were exempt from the district because of criteria in Resolution 12-076; and

WHEREAS, Updates to the preliminary assessment roll will be presented to Council twice a year for the life of the project; and

WHEREAS, Between January 28 and August 27, 2013 one additional property is exempted and lot line vacations and new lots created by platting actions are outlined on Attachment A; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council hereby amends the preliminary assessment roll for the Homer Natural Gas Special Assessment District by exempting certain properties and making amendments for recorded property plat actions through August 27, 2013 as outlined on Attachment A, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein.
