Homer Comp Plan Rewrite Community Work Session

The public is invited to a Community Work Session to explore how population and job growth might change land use and development patterns in Homer over time.

You will have the opportunity to review  three potential growth scenarios for Homer. Your feedback will assist in developing goals, objectives, and recommendations for the Comprehensive Plan Rewrite and Title 21 Revision.

The Homer Public Library will be CLOSED for Alaska Day, Friday, October 18th.

Regular hours resume Saturday, October 19th.

Canvass Board

The Canvass Board is appointed by the City Clerk to review the preliminary certificates of election and all official election documents in accordance with HCC Chapter 4.35 Canvassing and Certification of Election Results. Canvass Board meetings are open to the public. The Canvass Board shall judge the applicability of absentee and questioned ballots, open and tally those accepted, and compiles the total votes cast in the election.

Homer Airport Terminal Sidewalk Replacement Update

The City is working with contractors to improve the walking surfaces and access to the Homer airport terminal building, so if you are flying out of Homer Airport, you may notice some temporary detours to the terminal doors.  Please watch your step while construction is in progress!
