I believe that leadership that encourages involvement at the local government level is the key to success for our community.  I‘m asking for your vote for Mayor of the City of Homer.  In exchange for you support, I promise to continue to listen to you and to work hard for you as we pull together to strengthen our community.

My focus will be to work collaboratively with the many organizations in Homer, ensuring that together the needs of our community are met. Specifically my priorities will be maintaining and developing our infrastructure, fostering a healthy business climate, the Port and Harbor expansion, Pioneer Avenue revitalization, and a focus on health, healing and the arts.

As your Mayor, I will work hand in hand with community stakeholders to value and support public safety, local schools, the hospital, the senior center, local businesses and non-profits as we move into our future together.

My wife Karen and I love the quality of life that we have found here in Homer. As your Mayor, I will encourage common sense governance through consensus building and non-biased decision-making.

It would be my honor to serve as your Mayor and I respectfully ask for your vote.
