Citizens can provide meaningful input on the policies that shape their government and their city through a variety of boards and commissions established by Homer City Council.  These advisory bodies are responsible for formulating new ideas, gathering information, hearing and receiving public comments, analyzing complex issues, and making recommendations for specific projects and policies.

There are currently openings or upcoming openings on the following Commissions and Board.   Click on name of advisory body for more information about their duties.

All applicants will be considered by the Mayor, who makes the appointments. They are then approved by the City Council at their next regularly scheduled council meeting.
