2026, 2027, 2028 Public Works Gravel Supply

Sealed bids for the City of Homer Public Works 2026, 2027, and 2028 Gravel Supply will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City of Homer, 491 East Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603, until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after the time fixed for receipt of the bid shall not be considered. All bidders must submit a City of Homer Plan Holders Registration form to be on the Plan Holder’s List to be considered responsive.

This work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and other facilities necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications. Quantities required shall be adjusted annually by Public Works.

For the 2026 Contract year, the work includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. Furnish & deliver 2000 - 3000 cubic yards’ vehicle measure winter roadway sand as specified.
2. Furnish & deliver 500 – 1000 cubic yards’ vehicle measure of Type III 1 ½” minus gravel as specified.
3. Furnish & deliver 500 – 1000 cubic yards’ vehicle measure of Type II gravel Base course as specified.
4. Furnish & deliver 100 – 500 cubic yards’ vehicle measure of D1 base course material as specified.

Paper copies of the bid documents may be purchased at the office of the City Clerk upon payment of $15.00 ($25.00 for priority mail delivery). All fees are non-refundable.
