Candidate Statement:
I’m running for reelection to a third term on City Council. It’s been a privilege to work for our community, and I’m ready to keep moving forward.
In my time on Council, I’ve focused on making Homer better for everyone. I’ve pushed for funding for the new recreation center we so urgently need. I’ve worked on slowing traffic and adding trails for walking and biking. I’ve prioritized smart budgeting to invest in our future responsibly. I’ve also helped update our comp plan and zoning codes to support sustainable growth and a denser, more vibrant downtown.
For the next three years, I’m committed to finishing the zoning updates, advancing the rec center, improving walkability, and keeping our budget on track while growing our economy. I’d be honored to earn the support of voters to continue this work.
