I am a life long Homer resident.  I have been on commissions and recently on the City Council since 2008.   My goal for being there, is to continue to see our City grow in a healthy and productive way.  I love seeing the next generation come back to raise their families.  That means we are doing something right.

Our small town is full of interesting people.  People who make Homer what it is.  I appreciate and enjoy working together for solutions that bring us together not tear us apart, so we as a community can continue to thrive.

I am proud of the record of the past 3 years.  We as a council were thinking, planning and looking forward to protect our town for the time that the State and Borough is in now.  While there may be some rough road still ahead at those levels, we have worked to protect our city in times of adversity.  We have tackled tough issues and have made a difference in our city.

Our accomplishments are Greatland Street, Rewrite of the Lease Policy, a Police Station funded by us without the help of other government agencies, working to keep our water and sewer rates stable, dealing with  Land issues that are effecting our citizens, Enstar Tariff problems, new bathroom at Ramp 2,  along with the current issues in the code with regards to Title 14 & 17, getting our budget cycle more transparent  and getting the HERC discussion off of dead center.  Its been eventful, and I will continue to work for the overall good of our community.
