Candidate Statement:

I’m proud to be a hometown girl and it has been an honor to have served on the City Council for the past two terms. I have worked hard with my fellow councilmembers, citizens, staff and Mayor to listen, problem solve and make decisions that put our community first. I stand by my track record of how I vote, its reflective of my small-town values and prosperous vision of Homer going forward. I am running for a third term because I believe in our city’s future. My focus will remain on supporting our community in its growth and supporting local businesses, safety and making sure our community voices are heard. It is important to me that we nurture our city so that our children and future generations have a thriving and viable community to raise their families in as well as our Elders.
