Candidate's Statement:
I am running for a second term for Homer City Council. I was raised in Homer and have been raising my six kids in Homer. My mother and other family live here as well. I have worked for HMC/SPH for over 22 years and have a strong connection to our community.
It is important for me to be a part of this community in a way that will help the future of our children and elderly. I would like to see through the forward motion of the ideas that the council has set forth such as town center space. I think it’s important to be supportive of our local businesses and how we can help Homer grow without sacrificing our small hometown feel.
Working together with the council and partaking in our City’s management is a privilege.
I have learned so much and have so much more I would like to learn and be a part of.
