REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST
by the City of Homer, Alaska, for
TENANTS TO OCCUPY THE HOMER EDUCATION AND RECREATION COMPLEX (HERC I)

In accordance with Resolution 19-006(A), the City of Homer is requesting Letters of Interest from parties interested in tenancy at the Homer Education and Recreation Complex (HERC 1) to determine effective use of the space and to seek potential stakeholders who are interested in investing in the building as third party property managers.

Letters of interest should include the following:

Attached below is the City of Homer fiscal year 2019 Operating and Capital Budget.  The budget contains detailed information regarding every fund, department and division of the City of Homer.  It sets forth the means for providing essential services and implementing the initiatives and goals set by City Council and City Departments for the upcoming year.

Please don't hesitate to contact the City Manager or the Finance Director with questions you may have regarding any element of the 2019 budget.

How to Establish Service 

Signing up for Water/Sewer services is easy. The staff at City Hall makes it easy to establish service in your new home or business.

  1. Bring a photo ID
  2. Fill out the paperwork and pay the fees and a deposit ($155.89 for residential customers). 

Connection Fees

Water Connection and Extension Permit Fee
• Single Family/Duplex $300
• Multi-Family/Commercial/Industrial $375

Join a Community Conversation about the HERC Final Recommendation Report

The Homer Education and Recreation Complex (HERC) Task Force recently completed a six- month study of the HERC facility.  The public is invited to learn more about the Task Force final report and join the conversation about HERC possibilities and challenges.
