Join us at the Homer Public Library for a special film screening of Free For All: The Public Library! This event is FREE to the public and held in partnership with Alaska Public Media.

Youth Drop In Soccer for 6th-12th Graders *Updated

Ongoing, outdoor, drop in soccer for boys and girls who are incoming 6 graders and are currently in 12th grade. Pick up games, scrimmages and informal drills/instructions  may be included.  This recreational program is not a club/team, does not require any commitment and is being facilitated by a team of adult volunteers.  No food or drink other then water allowed on the turf.

Food And Comics:  An Artistic And Culinary Adventure.
Join Anchorage illustrator Lee Post in a fun, fast-paced comics class about everything food.  We’ll learn some comics basics and talk about our favorite foods.  You then design a simple poster trying to sway our little group that your favorite food is the best. No prior drawing experience required and suitable for all ages.  For the most fun, youth under 7 years old may need an adult to collaborate during the activities.
