Wireless Hotspots for Checkout

No Internet? No Problem!

The library now has 10 wireless hotspots available for checkout. The hotpots allow any computer, tablet or smartphone to connect to the internet through the AT&T 4G wireless network, which covers most areas in and around Homer. They provide unlimited data throughout their 2-week checkout period, which we hope will benefit households across the region, especially those with no other means of internet access.

This project was made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, grant number ARPA25.
