A seat on the Homer City Council was declared vacant by City Council at their July 26^th regular meeting.  Homer citizens interested in being appointed to serve the partial term until October 2021 must file an application for appointment with the City Clerk's Office.

Applications for Appointment will be accepted July 27, 2021 through, Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Clerk's Office

To qualify, candidates must be:

Project Name: WOODARD CREEK CULVERT AT FAIRVIEW AVENUE 

Dates: July 31 to September 3, 2021

The 24/7 closure of the section of Fairview Avenue between Bartlett Street and Campground Road to foot and vehicular traffic for the Woodard Creek Culvert Replacement Project has been extended to September 3. Local access to businesses and property owners will be maintained.  Construction areas will be marked by barricades and road closure signage.  Please follow all designated traffic routes.
