I want to join an advisory body, but how do I know if I'll have time?
Advisory Bodies meet once or twice a month, and meetings can be an hour long or they can go for three hours or more, depending on how many items are on the agenda and how much public comment is received.
To figure out which advisory body would work for your schedule, here are the meeting days and times for each one. Some bodies do not meet in the summer or during the holiday months, for the exact meetings schedules contact the Clerk's Office.
| Economic Development Advisory Commission | Second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. |
| Library Advisory Board | Third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. |
| Planning Commission | First and Third Wednesday of each month. Worksession at 5:30, regular meeting at 6:30 |
| Port & Harbor Advisory Commission | Fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. |
| Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture Advisory Board | Third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. |
| ADA Advisory Board | Second Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. |
