Do you have questions about the upcoming elections? The Homer Public Library and Kenai Peninsula Votes have recorded a series of Zoom Webinars all about voting and elections. If you have questions about how, when and where to vote, these webinars will help you become a more informed citizen.

A special assessment district may be created for the purpose of acquiring, installing or constructing a capital improvement that primarily benefits real property in the district, in contrast to capital improvements that benefit the entire community and are paid for with general government resources or improvements that benefit a specific individual parcel.

Please see the attached documents for details on the process and the application form if you are interested in forming a special assessment district for water, sewer or road improvements.

Due to the heavy rain overnight, road work on Horizon Court has been postponed until Tuesday, September 8, weather permitting.

Horizon Court will be closed to all traffic, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on Thursday, Sept 3, for road repair.
