Extreme Low Tide Alert: Homer Harbor Load & Launch Ramp Restrictions

Attention: Load & Launch Ramp Extreme Low Tide Advisory

Kachemak Bay is experiencing EXTREME low tides that could leave you high and dry at the Load & Launch Ramp.

The ramp ends at -6 feet. Predicted low times for Sunday through Wednesday are -4.7 feet to -5.6 feet. There may not be sufficient water depth to launch or float your boat during the following times: 

  • Sunday, April 27: -4.7' at 8:50am (Avoid 7:20-10:20am)
  • Monday, April 28: -5.6' at 9:34am (Avoid 8:00-11:00am)
  • Tuesday, April 29: -5.6' at 10:18am (Avoid 8:45-11:45am)
  • Wednesday, April 30: -4.7' at 11:04am (Avoid 9:30-12:30pm)

 All load and launch ramp users are advised to plan accordingly around these extreme low tides.
