Vessel Insurance Requirements
Proof of insurance must be on file with the office. Please add the City as an Additional Insured to ensure that the Harbor will receive annual updates when your coverage is renewed.
You can email proof of insurance to port@ci.homer.ak.us, or have your insurance agent send us information at that email or at the following address:

Please note that until further notice, we will be accepting commercial insurance with at least $500,000 of coverage to meet the City's requirement. Commercial vessels with coverage below $500,000 must petition the Port Director for an exemption.
Vessels who do not provide proof of insurance will only be permitted to purchase moorage at the daily rate.
