Art in the Library 2023-2024
Application Deadline: Friday, October 13th at 6pm
Friends of the Homer Public Library is looking for local artists to exhibit two-dimensional work (paintings, prints, collage, photography, etc.) in the Fireplace Reading Room at the Homer Public Library for three months at a time starting November 2023 - September 2024.
Art is an integral part of the Homer community. Every year, the Friends of the Homer Public Library ask local artists to send samples of their work and a Community Artworks Selection Panel selects the pieces that will be displayed at the library. None of the works on display are for sale, but it is an opportunity for artists to showcase their work. The Friends seek artists at all stages of their artistic endeavors.
