Homer Harbor Expansion Study Public Meeting on Sept 23

The public is invited to a Homer Harbor Expansion Public Meeting on Saturday, September 23.

 

The event kicks off at 10 am in Pioneer Hall, Room 201 at the Kenai Peninsula College campus with a study update and overview of the design alternatives moving forward by the City of Homer, United States Army Corps of Engineers and HDR Engineering.

 

Afterward, the public will have opportunity to   
break into small focus groups to workshop
opportunities and offer ideas for the following
topics:

  • Uplands Considerations & Aesthetics
  • Resiliency & Sustainability
  • Reduced Environmental Impact
  • Balanced Harbor Design
  • Business/Economic Opportunities

Conversations will be facilitated by project staff from the City of Homer, USACE and HDR Engineering.
